State Coordinators – QLD, ACT VIC, WA

The Australian Nappy Network is looking for new State Coordinators (or a Coordination team comprising of 2 or more people) for QLD, ACT, VIC and WA.

State Coordinators are required to reply to any email inquiries sent to the ANN state email address, and help us run our advocacy and social events for 2010 (particularly for Reusable Nappy Week). Events can be a small as a local group of mums meeting for coffee or as big as a Nappy Expo, the choice is yours.  Resources such as promotional materials, funds, and so forth will be provided centrally so the main tasks of the coordinator are to find suitable venues and arrange the planning of the actual event(s) to be held. In addition, the coordinator will be required to attend online meetings held over skype every 6 weeks or so (moving to fortnightly closer to reusable nappy week). Training and support will be provided from other ANN members and previous coordinators. If you’ve ever wanted to get involved in Reusable Nappy advocacy, there’s no better time.

People in other states may contact their state coordinator if they would like to join existing coordinators/coordination teams (extra helpers are always welcome) 🙂 .
